I'm Whitney, founder of Farrington Lane.
I started Farrington Lane in the fall of 2012 as a vendor with One Kings Lane, and it has evolved into a truly creative outlet in addition to a shop. I have worn many hats in the home design industry: merchandising, marketing, buying, sales and design. All of my roles have had a common element - my passion for beauty in the home. I believe the impact our environments have on our lives cannot be underestimated and should be used for good. The way a space affects how people feel can in turn affect important conversations and events that can literally change the course of history. Spaces can heal, oppress, excite, inspire, comfort, agitate…the list is endless. I like to make spaces more beautiful and functional to increase peace, enjoyment, and foster community.
I would love for you to get to know the Farrington Lane aesthetic. When I was initially brainstorming about what Farrington Lane represents, the following words came to mind.
Feeling that wasn't enough, I did some imagery brainstorming and decided that these images are a great visual representation of my inspiration. I tried to cut it down, but just couldn't! Everything here tugs at my heart ril hard...and I am incredibly grateful to the creatives behind them (credits below).

So what is the Farrington Lane blog? It is where I will share the newest arrivals at the shop, latest interior design projects and inspiration, creative projects, beautiful spaces and places, and anything else I think you all might fancy. I hope for this space to be a natural outpouring of creativity and inspiration that I can contribute to the design community and enthusiasts.
If you like what you see I so hope you'll stick around and check back in.
